A forest development plan is a planning tool with a 10-year timeframe. It describes the forest composition of the woodland, and the evaluation of the forest, maples or wildlife potential. It also identifies the areas to be protected as well as the possible work to enhance your forest.
The possession of a forest development plan, signed by a forest engineer, is a mandatory condition to register as a forest producer and benefit from available government programs.
